BALDWIN COUNTY ESCAPEE ARRESTED 1-6-17

A Baldwin County, Alabama man who was in court yesterday morning to be sentenced is now facing additional charges. 22-year-old Weston  Slade was being sentenced to a three-year term for violating his probation, when he ran from the courthouse. He was later seen getting into the trunk of a car in Bay Minette, Alabama. The car was driven by Weston’s sister, 19-year-old Jamison Slade. Deputies later took Weston into custody at his home after he ran from authorities again. He will be charged with escape in the first degree, resisting arrest and attempting to elude law enforcement officers. His sister his mother, Susan Slade, were both charged with hindering the apprehension of an escapee.
