A former Jim C. Bailey Middle School teacher has been arrested in Montana for killing his wife. Montana authorities say on January 7th 47-year-old Joseph DeWise, killed his wife, Lauren, and shot and injured one of her roommates. Lauren and Joseph DeWise both worked as teachers at Bailey Middle School from 2012 to 2014. The couple were living in Bozeman, Montana and authorities say one of her roommates came home to find DeWise dead in her bedroom and another roommate, Ashley Van Hemert, shot and injured. Police took Joseph DeWise into custody a short time later without incident. He remains in custody in Gallatin County, Montana, on an $800,000 bond.
