HIT AND RUN DRIVER ID’d

Pensacola Police have announced that an arrest warrant has been issued for the driver of a car that struck and killed two pedestrians on June 6th on West Cervantes Street. Pensacola Police Chief Tommi Lyter and State Attorney Bill Eddins said at a news conference yesterday that Markquise Wallace of Pensacola is wanted for the hit-and-run that killed 8-month-old Neariaah Williams and 28-year-old Nephateria Williams and injured the baby’s mother, Quineka Baldwin at “M” and West Cervantes Street. Wallace rented the white Dodge Challenger the day of the crash and was traveling at least 90 miles per hour before he struck the three victims. Authorities found the white Dodge Challenger in an abandoned building behind an auto shop at “T” and Bobe streets. Wallace is still being sought.
