The Northwest Florida Daily News is reporting that the Walton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting off Highway 98 that happened last night. A spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office said the male victim, who was a passenger in a car, apparently shot himself while inside the vehicle. The shooting was apparently connected to an argument between the man and the female driver of the vehicle and occurred around 6 p.m. No further details have been released and the investigation is on-going.
