The marine unit of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office rescued two people who were on a boat that overturned in the East Pass yesterday, Marine Unit Deputy Kyle Corbitt heard people calling for help on Channel 16 and found the boat in the Gulf near the Pass. Both people were rescued and both declined medical attention. The Coast Guard also responded to the incident.
