PANAMA CITY ATTORNEY MISCONDUCT

A circuit judge has recommended that a Panama City attorney – who practices divorce and family law – be disbarred for criminal activity and repeated misconduct. Circuit Judge John Miller of Pensacola, acting as the referee in the case, has recommended that 61-year-old Rhonda Clyatt, is guilty and should be disbarred. The claims of misconduct include failing to report a DUI arrest in 2016; failing to properly communicate with clients; missing court appearances; missing court deadlines; declining to refund client’s retainer fees; and defrauding the court by putting a piece of property into her name when it was supposed to be used to pay alimony.
