Red tide continues to linger in Northwest Florida. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said red tide, was observed in medium concentrations in or offshore of Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Escambia counties. Red Tide can deplete oxygen in the water, killing marine life, and it can also irritate people’s noses, throats and eyes. It has caused serious problems in central and south Florida.
