GULF BREEZE SCHOOL LAND PURCHASE

The Santa Rosa County School and the city of Gulf Breeze have come to an agreement about land for a new school. The Gulf Breeze City Council signed off on the sale of 45 acres on the west course of Tiger Point Golf Course for 1.9 million dollars. Santa Rosa County School District Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick said  the size of the property will allow the district to build an elementary school, a middle school or a combination. Wyrosdick said he should be able to present the plan to the Santa Rosa County School Board for approval at its November 15th meeting.
