The body of a woman was found on the Escambia River over the weekend. The body was found in Santa Rosa County close to Terrell’s Landing off Oil Plant Road, near Century. Rich Aloy, spokesperson for the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office said further details will be released as the investigation progresses. The identity of the victim is not yet known.
