NEW GOVERNOR VISITS MEXICO BEACH

On his first full day in office newly sworn-in Florida Governor Ron DeSantis surveyed Hurricane Michael damage in Mexico Beach in Bay County. DeSantis got a firsthand look at the debris, destroyed buildings and closed businesses while accompanied by local and state officials Wednesday. Florida Chief Financial Officer and Bay County native Jimmy Patronis was one of the officials who met with DeSantis in Mexico Beach and said work is being done at the state level to address the high gas prices in Bay County and start an investigation into price gouging if the right type of evidence is found.
