The Florida Highway Patrol says a 49-year-old Navarre pedestrian was struck and killed yesterday morning on State Road 87 in Santa Rosa County. Troopers said 17-year-old Christian Clemons was northbound  around 8:30 a.m. when his pickup struck the pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released and charges are pending further investigation.
