BOATING ACCIDENT VICTIMS IDENTIFIED

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has identified the two men involved in that weekend boating accident in Choctawhatchee Bay. The U.S. Coast Guard received a request for assistance yesterday around 12:30pm from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office after 34-year-old Thomas Robinett and his passenger, Matthew Martinello, were ejected from a 20-foot center console vessel in rough waters after a reported malfunction. The boat ran in circles and struck Robinett. His passenger was rescued by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s response crews and is in stable condition. Robinett is still missing and is said to have red hair and was last seen wearing a red shirt and grey shorts.
