A collision between an Escambia County Area Transit bus and a truck yesterday afternoon sent five people to the hospital. Pensacola Police say it happened around 2 p.m., when the truck and the bus collided on Ninth Avenue between East Fisher and East Baars streets, causing the bus to hit a tree. Four passengers and the bus driver were transported to the hospital.
