The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred early yesterday morning. A deputy in the area heard multiple gunshots in the area of East Ensley and Vickie streets around 2 a.m. and then saw a car moving erratically. He stopped the car at the intersection of West Hannah Street and Pensacola Boulevard and saw the car’s passenger – 28-year-old Kyle Baldwin – had several gunshot wounds. Baldwin was later pronounced dead. The driver was detained for questioning and investigators are also seeking 25-year-old Bobby Hawkins for questioning.
