The U.S. Coast Guard has announced they have ended their search for the missing boater near Destin. 34-year-old Thomas Robinett and his passenger, Matthew Martinello, were ejected from their 20-foot boat on Sunday. The boat ran circles in the water and struck Robinett. Martinello was rescued, but the search continued for Robinett. The Coast Guard searched over 500 square miles over 41 hours, but he was not located. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
