Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan has issued a statement after one of his deputies was accused of shooting a chicken from his car. The Sheriff said the deputy hit and killed a chicken with his vehicle on Monday, April 15th, but did not shoot it from his vehicle. Sheriff Morgan said false reports of the incident were spreading across social media and he wanted to set the record straight. He said one supposed eyewitness has been arrested for making a false report.
