The State Attorney’s Office announced they will ask for the death penalty for the Niceville man who stabbed his 3-year-old son repeatedly on March 15th in their home on Rawlins Court in Okaloosa County. 61-year-old Frederick Franken stabbed his son after his wife said she wanted a divorce. The 3-year-old was found dead on the floor and  Franken was found beside him with multiple self-inflicted stab wounds.
