The State Attorney’s Office says Milton Mayor Heather Lindsay has been cleared of any Sunshine Law violations after she reported herself for a memo she sent to city staff and council members earlier this month. Lindsay asked the State Attorney’s Office to determine if a memo she sent violated the state’s Sunshine Law. The State Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday that Lindsay did not violate the law since there was no evidence that any council member responded to the memo.
