An officer with the Blountstown Police Department is facing four charges of battery after he, his son and another man were arrested last week after a fight inside an Eastpoint restaurant. 47-year-old Lieutenant Tim Partridge, of Altha was charged with four counts of battery. His son, 23-year-old Scott Partridge, also of Altha, was charged with one count of battery and property damage. A third man, identified as 45-year old Larry Joe Colson Jr., of Eastpoint, was charged with one count of battery. The fight, took place around 2:30 a.m. Friday, June 7, at El Jalisco on U.S. 98 in Apalachicola. Blountstown Police Chief Mark Mallory said Partridge is on administrative leave while the case is being investigated by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
