CRESTVIEW POLICE CHIEF VACANCY

The city of Crestview is having a hard time keeping a chief of police. Chief Tony Taylor, who was fired in June of 2018, was replaced by Deputy Chief Jamie Grant, who retired in April. Lisa Sprague, who had been promoted to deputy chief, became the interim chief of police, but now she too has announced she is leaving the department. Crestview City Manager Tim Bolduc said he has created a 7-person law enforcement panel that will assist him in selecting a new chief from a list of eight candidates. Five of those candidates are from Florida, the others from Maryland, Ohio, and Texas.
