BLUE ANGELS AIR SHOW FOLLOW-UP

Although weather conditions reduced the number of people attending the Blue Angels Air Show on Pensacola Beach, over 66,000 vehicles did cross the Bob Sikes Bridge over the weekend. County officials said that was about 10,000 fewer vehicles than last year – a 13% decrease. County and beach leaders said they were pleased with the large crowds that came out to cheer the Blue Angels, despite the rough seas and cloudy skies. Civilian acts were canceled both Friday and Saturday, and the Blue Angels performed a shortened show both days.
