A former financial planner from Milton has been indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of wire fraud and three counts of failure to file tax returns. 49-year-old James Young III is accused of encouraging his clients and others to invest money in false side investments in real estate and natural resource rights between 2010 and 2014 and presenting false documents to potential investors to show them he was personally invested. Young is also accused of failing to file federal tax returns in 2012, 2013 and 2014. His trial is scheduled for September.
