The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says two 13-year-old boys were arrested on charges of displaying a handgun on social media that turned out to be stolen. One attended Franklin County Schools district’s alternative school, and the other the Apalachicola Bay Charter School. They were using Snap Chat to share a photo of the firearm, which had been reported stolen out of Panama City. Each was charged with possession of a firearm by a minor, and improper exhibition of a firearm and are in a Department of Juvenile Justice detention center in Tallahassee.
