AIR FORCE CAPTAIN DIES AFTER TAKING FITNESS TEST

An Air Force captain died early Saturday, just hours after experiencing health complications following a fitness test on Eglin Air Force Base. 29-year-old Captain Tranay Tanner, completed the fitness test early Friday and was taken to the base hospital around 8:30 a.m. She was transferred to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and died Saturday. The base said Tanner was assigned to its Operational Test and Evaluation Center. Her death is being investigated.
