The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says a body washed ashore on Santa Rosa Island around 1:30 yesterday afternoon. Deputies responded to a 911 call that a body had been found on the beach on Eglin Air Force Base property. Few other details have been released and the investigation is on-going.
