The Food and Drug Administration has issued a voluntary recall on the dietary supplement Up2 sold to boost libido because it is tainted with sildenafil (“Sill-Denna-Fill”) a prescription drug for erectile dysfunction. The FDA said sildenafil can interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels which can be life threatening to people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease.
