The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department says two small children are in serious condition at Sacred Heart Hospital after drinking muriatic acid, a chemical used to make methamphetamine. After receiving the call from the hospital Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a mobile home on Fleetwood Drive just outside of Milton. 24-year-old Amber Cooley, and 27-year-old Kyle Cooley, were arrested for child neglect with great bodily harm, manufacturing methamphetamine, and other charges. Both are being held without a bond.
