FOLEY SCHOOL PLACED N LOCKDOWN 9-22-16

The Foley, Alabama, Police Department said a man near Foley Middle School reported he was being chased by people carrying guns Wednesday morning. The school was put on lockdown for an hour until the police determined the caller, Christopher Mixer, was suffering from an altered mental state and that no one was chasing him. Mixer was taken to South Baldwin Hospital for evaluation and was then charged with Disorderly Conduct. Other charges are pending.
