The Institute for Human and Machine Cognition opened its new eight million-dollar robotics research facility yesterday. The new three-story, 30,000 square foot building, is next to the smaller building on Alcaniz Street where IMHC has been located since 2004. It contains fitted with laboratories, offices and conference rooms, for making advancements in technology and artificial intelligence. Pensacola attorney Fred Levin made a $1 million donation to help the project. IHMC thanked him by naming it the ‘Levin Center for IHMC Research.’
