The Pensacola Police Department is investigating the robbery of a Pensacola bank. Just after noon yesterday the suspect – described as a black mal about six-feet tall in his early 30’s said to be wearing a long-sleeved yellow shirt with a patch on the left shoulder sleeve, dark jeans, dark hat, and sunglasses – walked into the Centennial Bank at 2200 Airport Boulevard and handed the teller a note demanding cash saying he said he had a gun although didn’t show one. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and may have gotten into a dark green full-sized GMC truck with tinted windows. No one was injured and anyone having information on the incident is asked to contact the Pensacola Police or to call Crime Stoppers at 433-STOP.
