Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David Stafford, says his office delivered more than 30,000 vote-by-mail ballots to the post office this week for the general election on November 8th. Voted ballots must be received in the Supervisor of Elections Office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day and ballots require a first-class postage stamp if returned by mail. The Postal Service recommends voters mail ballots at least one week before the due date. The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot for the general election is 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2nd.
