BICYCLE FATAL 10-10-16

Pensacola Police say a 70-year-old bicyclist died after being struck by a car on 9th Avenue near Ash drive late Friday night. The name of the bicyclist has not yet been released. Investigating officers say the bicyclist turned in front of a car driven by 22-year-old Kaitlynn Pembertom. Officers say the cyclist was wearing dark clothes and was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to a local hospital where he died just before 4 a.m. Saturday.
