A plan by business leaders Robert Rinke and Quint Studer to put Beach trolleys in downtown Pensacola during the off-season continues to move forward. Trolleys would operate from November 3rd through December 31st, seven days a week from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5 to 10 p.m. Studer is donating the $35,000 to $45,000 to the Downtown Improvement Board for the two-month period. The trolleys be free and people could flag them down at any point on the route. The plan still has to get official approval from the Downtown Improvement Board and the County Commission.
