The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash in West Escambia County Tuesday night. Troopers say it happened near the intersection of Sorrento Road and Nighthawk Lane around 9:40pm when David Hill of Pensacola lost control of his motorcycle and fell into the roadway. He was struck by a car driven by Cynthia Roberts of Pensacola and was pronounced dead at the scene by Escambia County EMS. Charges are pending the completion of a traffic homicide investigation.
