CHILD NEGLECT ARRESTS 11-1-16

Two Escambia County parents have been arrested on child neglect charges. Trammell Cooley and Angel James were found passed out on drugs at a home on the 8100 block of Lillian Highway. James’ stepfather found two of the children playing outside by themselves, naked, and another was found lying on the floor inside the home with a full diaper and a rash. The house was filthy and a responding deputy said cockroaches on the floors, walls and kitchen counter tops and open prescription bottles were within reach of the children. Deputies also found drug paraphernalia and synthetic marijuana in the home. Cooley and James were booked into the Escambia County Jail on felony child neglect charge.
