A local teenager who escaped while in custody 3 months ago has been recaptured. 17-year-old Jajuan Millender was apprehended yesterday morning in the 7900 block of Perth Avenue. He escaped on July 19th while being escorted into the Juvenile Justice Center. The 17-year-old was originally arrested after being stopped driving a stolen car. In the course of that arrest he kicked a Pensacola Police Officer in the mouth and also kicked out the paneling in the patrol car. He was wanted on outstanding warrants for larceny, battery on a law enforcement, grand theft of a vehicle, resisting arrest with violence and escape.
