CORRECTIONS OFFICERS UNION ELECTION 11-17-16

The Florida Police Benevolent Association said Tuesday it has won an election to represent state corrections officers and probation officers. For the past five years the union has been represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The Florida PBA had served as the collective-bargaining representative for Department of Corrections workers for three decades but was ousted in 2011 by the Teamsters.
