The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department says a Molino man was arrested yesterday after a brief car chase. A deputy attempted to stop 24-year old Telacia Brown after he ran a stop sign at Cedartown Road and old Palafox, but Brown continued to a residence about a quarter mile away. A K-9 unit detected narcotics in the vehicle and deputies found oxycodone and hydrocodone pills as well as $792 in cash. Brown was charged with fleeing and eluding, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and felony narcotics charges. He was booked into the Escambia County Jail on a $113,600 bond.
