The Florida Highway Patrol said three pedestrians were hit by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Escambia County and one suffered fatal injuries. Troopers say just after midnight 19-year old Bryant Zachidny was westbound on Navy Boulevard, approaching Old Corry Road, as three pedestrians were crossing Navy Boulevard. All three were struck and 19-year-old Nicholas Murphy, died later at Baptist Hospital. 18-year-old Breona Mackoff was listed in critical condition at Baptist Hospital, and Zachary Meehan was not transported to the hospital.

Charges are pending.
