Pensacola Police have identified a 23-year-old man who fired a shot at a police officer Friday night. Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, officers responded to Highland Drive on a report of an armed disturbance. Officer Matthew Mercado found one of those involved – Tijuan (“Tee Wan”) Johnson – riding a bicycle on Sixth Avenue near Tunis Street. Johnson fired one shot at the officer, then fled the area. Mercado was not injured. Johnson is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds and is wanted for attempted murder and aggravated assault.
