Pensacola Police Say a restaurant employee who was shot and killed last July may have been the target of a robbery. In October Police arrested 14-year-old Willie McKay for the murder of 34-year-old Mark Freeman on July 20th. Freeman was a cook at Tin Cow and Hopjacks in downtown Pensacola and was walking to work for his morning shift when he was killed. A neighbor told police that McKay went to their home after the shooting and asked if he could store a gun and cellphone. The gun was not recovered but cellphone records placed McKay at the scene at the time of the shooting. McKay will be tried as an adult.
