The Florida Highway Patrol said a man was critically injured when he was struck by a vehicle while trying to cross Mobile Highway yesterday afternoon. Troopers say Christian Bishop was crossing Mobile Highway at Tonawanda Drive Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. when he was hit by a pickup driven by Sandra Boyd. Bishop was taken to Baptist Hospital. No charges have been filed.
