As of yesterday, Gulf Power customers will see their bills drop 3 percent thanks to lower fuel costs. Customer’s monthly bills will decrease by $4.63, the second year in a row Gulf Power customers have seen a decrease in energy prices. However, Gulf Power has also requested a rate increase that would begin in July 2017. If the Florida Public Service Commission approves the increased bills would go up by about $2.50 per month.
