RIVER FLOOD ADVISORIES 1-3-17

The heavy rains of the past few days have caused a Flood Warning to be issued for the Escambia River near Century and the Perdido River near Barrineau Park. At 7 p.m. Monday the Escambia River was at 16 feet, a foot below flood stage. The river is expected to rise near 20.6 feet by Wednesday night, which will flood low-lying pastures. The Perdido River near Barrineau Park is also expected to rise to several feet above flood stage by tonight, but should fall below flood stage by Wednesday.
