The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate a fatal traffic crash that happened Sunday morning on Pace Boulevard. Troopers say it 39-year-old Ray Willis ran a stop sign at Pace Boulevard and Bobe Street and collided with an 18-wheeler. Neither Willis or his passenger, 36-year-old David Russ, wearing a seat belt and both were thrown from the vehicle. Willis died later at Baptist Hospital and Russ is said to be in critical condition. Any charges are pending the completion of a traffic homicide investigation.
