The largest piece of public art in Pensacola’s history was officially unveiled on yesterday. Last November local artists Ashton Howard and Evan Levin began painting a 3,000-square foot mural on the Jefferson Street parking garage in Downtown Pensacola. It depicts Pensacola’s history, including the Blue Angels, the Pensacola Lighthouse and Spanish explorer Tristan de Luna, our city’s founder. Friends of downtown Pensacola, Foo Foo Festival and the downtown Improvement Board dedicated the mural yesterday.
