Escambia County’s Teacher of the Year was named Friday night at the Escambia County Public Schools Foundation’s Golden Apple Dinner. She is Lacey Brown who teaches third grade at Jim Allen Elementary School. Brown is in her third year of teaching and is now in the running for the state teacher of the year.
