Escambia Fire-Rescue says two people died in a house fire on Sunday in the 9000 block of Huckleberry Lane off Fowler Avenue. Firefighters responded around noon, but they believe the fire began during the night, and went unreported, burning out due to lack of oxygen. Both victims were found dead inside the home. The Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
