A man was arrested in front of Warrington Elementary School yesterday after he intentionally hit a deputy with his car. Deputies had responded to an assistance call at the school and were helping to direct traffic in the parking lot while students were being picked up after school. One driver – identified as Frank Leverett – failed to obey directions from one of the deputies and intentionally hit the deputy in the leg with his car. The deputy was not injured and Leverett was arrested.
