A 16-year-old student at Booker T. Washington High School has been arrested for possession of a firearm on school grounds. But the story goes deeper than that. On Friday another student showed William Caldwell a semi-automatic pistol he had in his backpack and said he planned to commit suicide before school started. Pensacola Police say Caldwell took the gun away from him and brought it to his home. Yesterday, Caldwell brought the gun back to school to return it to his friend who threatened to commit suicide. Caldwell was called into the dean’s office and admitted he had the gun on him. He was arrested and The other student will receive a psychological evaluation.
